Terms & Conditions — Wanderlust Spirit Co.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Wanderlust Spirit Co., including Wanderlust Spirit Acres and Wanderlust Equine Bodywork (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking, purchasing, or participating in any service, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms.

Services Provided

Wanderlust Spirit Co. offers:

  • Mobile petting zoo experiences

  • Classroom and educational animal programs

  • Animal‑assisted visits and events

  • Equine bodywork services, including massage, raindrop technique, TTouch, structural balance, and wellness sessions

All services are subject to availability, safety considerations, and the wellbeing of our animals.

Booking & Payment

  • A booking is considered confirmed once payment, deposit, or written agreement is received.

  • Full payment is due by the date specified on your invoice or booking confirmation.

  • Prices are subject to change at any time prior to booking confirmation.

  • Travel fees may apply depending on event location.

  • Late payments may result in cancellation of your booking.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Client‑Initiated Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 7+ days before the scheduled service may be rescheduled without penalty.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days may forfeit the deposit or be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • No‑shows or same‑day cancellations are non‑refundable.

Company‑Initiated Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to:

  • Severe weather

  • Unsafe conditions

  • Animal health concerns

  • Staff illness or emergency

  • Situations that compromise animal welfare or public safety

If we cancel, clients may reschedule or receive a refund of any prepaid amount.

Weather Policy (Petting Zoo & Outdoor Events)

For the safety of our animals and staff, we may modify, shorten, relocate, or cancel services in the event of:

  • Extreme heat or cold

  • High winds

  • Thunderstorms

  • Hazardous travel conditions

Indoor or shaded alternatives are strongly recommended when possible.

Animal Welfare & Safety

We prioritize the wellbeing of our animals and the safety of all participants.

Clients agree to:

  • Follow all instructions from staff

  • Supervise children at all times

  • Ensure no running, chasing, grabbing, or rough handling of animals

  • Prevent feeding of animals unless explicitly permitted

  • Keep all pets away from the event area

We may remove animals or end an event early if unsafe behavior occurs. No refunds will be issued for events ended due to client or guest misconduct.

Client Responsibilities (Events & Facilities)

Clients must provide:

  • Safe, accessible space for setup

  • Adequate shade or indoor space when required

  • Access to parking and unloading areas

  • Access to water if needed

  • Accurate event details (location, time, number of guests, etc.)

If conditions are unsafe or unsuitable upon arrival, we may cancel or modify the service without refund.

Equine Bodywork Disclaimer

Equine bodywork is not a substitute for veterinary care. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat medical conditions.

By booking equine bodywork, you acknowledge that:

  • You are the legal owner or authorized agent of the horse

  • Your horse is healthy enough for bodywork

  • You will disclose any behavioral or medical concerns

  • You understand results vary and are not guaranteed

We reserve the right to refuse service to any horse for safety or welfare reasons.

Liability Waiver

By participating in any service, you agree that:

  • Animal interactions carry inherent risks

  • You assume full responsibility for yourself, your guests, and any minors in your care

  • Wanderlust Spirit Co. is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from:

    • Animal behavior

    • Environmental conditions

    • Client negligence

    • Failure to follow safety instructions

Clients are responsible for any damage caused to equipment, animals, or staff due to misconduct or unsafe behavior.

Photography & Media

We may take photos or videos during events for marketing and educational purposes.

Clients may opt out by notifying us in writing before the event.

Clients may take photos of our animals as long as:

  • Images are used respectfully

  • No staff or other clients are photographed without consent

  • Images are not used for commercial purposes without permission

Privacy & Data Use

Any personal information collected during booking or communication is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell or share your information with third‑party marketers.

Allergies & Sensitivities

Clients are responsible for informing guests of potential exposure to:

  • Hay

  • Dander

  • Feathers

  • Essential oils (equine bodywork)

  • Outdoor allergens

We are not responsible for allergic reactions.

Accessibility & Special Accommodations

We strive to make our services accessible and inclusive. Please notify us in advance if accommodations are needed so we can plan appropriately.

Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

  • Conditions are unsafe

  • Animals are at risk

  • Clients or guests behave aggressively or disrespectfully

  • Policies are not followed

No refunds will be issued for services ended due to client misconduct.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts within Colorado.

Acceptance of Terms

By booking or participating in any service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
