Wanderlust Spirit Co. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides mobile petting zoo experiences, classroom programs, animal‑assisted visits, and equine bodywork services. This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for all bookings and purchases.
General Refund Policy
All bookings are reserved specifically for your date, time, and location. Because we schedule staff, animals, travel, and preparation in advance, refunds are limited and time‑sensitive.
Refund eligibility depends on when the cancellation occurs and the type of service booked.
Deposits

Deposits are non‑refundable unless we cancel the service.

Deposits may be transferred to a new date once if rescheduling occurs within the allowed window (see Section 3).
Cancellations by Client
Petting Zoo, Classroom Programs & Animal‑Assisted Events

7+ days before the event: Eligible for a refund minus the non‑refundable deposit, or you may reschedule once at no additional charge.

Within 7 days of the event: Payments are non‑refundable, but you may request a reschedule subject to availability.

Same‑day cancellations or no‑shows: No refunds or credits will be issued.
Equine Bodywork Services

72+ hours before appointment: Eligible for a full refund or free reschedule.

Within 72 hours: Payment is non‑refundable, but you may reschedule once.

Cancellations by Wanderlust Spirit Co.
We may cancel or reschedule due to:

Severe weather
-
Unsafe conditions

Animal health concerns
-
Staff illness or emergency
-
Situations that compromise animal welfare or public safety
If we cancel, you may choose:

A full refund, or
-
A credit or reschedule for a future date
This applies to all services.
Weather‑Related Refunds (Outdoor Events)
If weather conditions make it unsafe for animals or staff, we will:

Attempt to relocate the event indoors or to a shaded/sheltered area

Offer a modified service if appropriate

Reschedule the event at no additional charge
If none of these options are possible, you may receive:

A full refund, or
-
A credit toward a future booking
Refunds are not issued for weather unless we determine conditions are unsafe.
Early Event Termination Due to Guest Behavior
If an event must end early due to unsafe or inappropriate behavior by guests, children, or facility staff:

No refunds or credits will be issued.
Travel Fees
Travel fees are refundable only if we cancel the service. If the client cancels, travel fees are not refundable once travel has begun.
Digital Products, Add‑Ons & Custom Materials
Items such as:

Custom flyers

Educational materials
-
Add‑on upgrades
-
Digital content
are non‑refundable once delivered.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for processing depending on your bank or payment provider.
